Air coolers

An air cooler can be installed in an apartment building, as long as it does not require intervention in the building's load-bearing structures or changes to the ventilation system. Fixed split-type air coolers, where the outdoor unit can be placed on the balcony, are the most common solutions. Any permit and noise regulations of the housing association must be taken into account during installation.

Industrial air coolers are efficient devices that can cool large spaces quickly and evenly. They can be based on evaporative or refrigeration compressor technology, for example. Industrial devices are selected based on volume, heat load and ventilation needs, and usually require fixed installation.

The price of an air cooler varies greatly depending on the capacity, technology and features of the device. Small fixed-mounted split-water or monoblock systems cost an average of €1,500-2,500 when installed, depending on the location and the required power class.
