Solar panels – Efficient and ecological energy

Fluctuations in electricity prices and dependence on purchased electricity can strain the finances of both households and businesses. At the same time, the need for sustainable and environmentally friendly energy solutions is growing.

Solar panels offer a solution to this – they are more than just a means of energy production. They are a long-term investment that brings savings, reduces dependence on the electricity market and reduces the carbon footprint.

Solar panels – people also ask

Solar panel works by converting sunlight into electricity using photocells, or photovoltaic cells. When light hits the surface of the cell, direct current is generated, which is directed through an inverter to the property's electrical grid. The system works automatically as soon as there is enough sunlight on the panel surface.

Solar panels are a profitable investment when electricity is consumed during the day and the system is properly sized. Savings are especially significant when the electricity produced can be used directly for your own consumption. The payback period typically varies between 6 and 12 years, and the system's service life often exceeds 25 years.

Oversizing may be justified if electricity consumption/price increases in the future, for example due to electric cars, heat pumps or battery packs. On the other hand, excessive oversizing may result in some of the electricity produced not being utilized. Sizing should be done based on current consumption and future needs.

An installed solar panel system for a single-family home typically costs between 5,000 and 15,000 euros, depending on the power output, quality of components, and the complexity of the project. The price usually includes the panels, inverter, mounting hardware, electrical work, and system commissioning.
