The installed air source heat pump includes, in addition to the device itself, all necessary accessories, refrigerant work, electrical installations and commissioning. The work is usually done in one visit and is carried out by a qualified installer. Renewe's complete delivery ensures that the system works properly and meets the manufacturer's warranty terms.
Most modern air source heat pumps are so-called air source heat pumps, which have both heating and cooling functions. The cooling function allows you to lower the indoor temperature in the summer, and works in the same way as an air conditioner – transferring heat from the inside to the outside.
The installation of an air source heat pump typically takes 5–7 hours, depending on the structure of the site and the implementation of the penetrations. In simple sites, the work is often completed within the same day. In special cases, such as in stone walls or long pipe runs, it may take a little longer.
Air source heat pumps do not have a universal frost limit, but their functionality depends on the model. Most devices operate down to -15…-25 °C, and the highest quality and modern models even down to -35 °C. However, the efficiency decreases in colder conditions, so the device's power alone may no longer be sufficient to heat the entire property.
