What is go-e Controller?

go-e Controller measures real-time energy flows (L1/L2/L3) and controls go-e charging stations depending on how much electrical power is available in the property or produced by the solar panels. This way you avoid overloading the main fuses and get surplus solar electricity automatically directed to the car battery.

Key benefits:

• Dynamic load management – reduces charging power during load peaks and increases it again when power is released.
• PV surplus charging – maximizes the use of your own production without a mandatory inverter connection (AC measurement is sufficient).
• Automatic 1↔3-phase changeover (with compatible chargers) – charging continues even at low power levels and becomes more efficient as the PV surplus increases.
• Energy monitoring – monitors house consumption and even 3 additional devices in a three-phase network (or 5 devices single-phase).
• Extensive integration – HTTP API, MQTT, Modbus TCP, remote access via the cloud.
• Multiple chargers – one Controller can control unlimited multiple go-e chargers (one charger ↔ one Controller).

Installation & commissioning:

The device is installed for electrical panel DIN rail, and current transformers are attached around the supply lines. Installation is done by an electrician; basic settings are being finalized with the go-e app (WiFi/Ethernet). You can also get this from us as part of “charging stations installed” package.

Compatibility & limitations:

• Compatible go-e Charger with series (Gemini, Gemini 2.0, HOME V3, PRO). Automatic 1↔3-phase changeover works with these series; functions may differ on other chargers (see datasheet).
• AC batteries can be taken into account in the measurement; DC-connected batteries Power cannot be measured directly.
